Install the required Drupal Modules

To use the Rotor Banner in Drupal 6, it is required that you install 3 different modules, the jQuery Plugin Module, Upload Elements, and the Views Module. So, lets begin by following the following steps...

Install Required Modules

• Download the Upload Elements module by clicking on the link provided. Extract this module and place it in your modules directory.
• The next module that you will need is the jQuery Plugins module, needed to use the fantastic jQuery.cycle library that provides the various transitions and effects. Again, download the module from the link provided, and extract the module into your modules directory.
• You will need to install the Views module. This is one of the most powerful and most flexible Drupal modules around, and is required to do almost anything of any interest in Drupal. Install this in the same way as the other modules.
• Finally, download and install the Rotor module in exactly the same way.

Enable Required Modules

Visit your modules administration page (found at /admin/build/modules), locate the following modules, click the 'Enabled' checkbox, and save.

• Upload Elements
• jQuery Plugins
• Views
• Views UI
• Rotor
