Creating Rotor Items

A Rotor Item is a Drupal Node that will appear in a Rotor Block for advertising or displaying important information or images. Each Rotor item will have a tab text that can be configured to be shown above or below the Rotor Items, or not at all in Views configuration page for the Rotor Block.

The Rotor banner module is actually very flexible, and will let you rotate through practically any content you like, but the dedicated Rotor Item content type is provided for convienience and will probably suit most uses.

Rotor Items can be created the same way as ony other Drupal node: Administer -> Create Content -> Rotor Item (/node/add/rotor-item). Simply fill out the form following the directions provided and hit Save.

Congratulations, you have just created your first Rotor Item! However, the Rotor Banner module is designed to rotate through multiple Rotor Items, so go ahead and create a few more in exactly the same way.
